The property where we hope to hold the temple one day.
In the meantime we are constructing a temple at 10 Goodmayes Lane, Goodmayes, Ilford, Essex, IG3 9NZ - The entrance to the temple is via Cardigan Gardens. You can view pictures of the construction below.

The temple at 10 Goodmayes Lane is a small project that will hopefully enable us to realise our dreams of building a larger temple for the Hindu community.
Week 2 Week 2
Week 2 - As you can see from the pictures, we do not believe in waiting around, a lot of work has been done, orginal building was
demolished and scrapped.

Week 3 - The rubble, and all the old materials have been removed.
The first foundation ceremony was performed. People who attended, received blessings and were able to participate in
every step of the foundation ceremony.

Week 4 - The soil has been dug up and rocks and concrete have been removed.

Week 6- Suported Barrier works carried out.

Week 7- Foundation surface created and built.

Friday 16th February 2007 - Maha Shivratrhri, Temple structure completed, marquee built and 1st poojai performed.
Sunday 11th March 2007 - Nandi donated to the temple
Saturday 14th April 2007 - Special poojai held for Tamil New Year 2007
Sunday 22nd April 2007 - Codi Ettram - 1st Day of Sittirai Cavadee -Siva Pregasen temple performed it's first Codi Ettram for Lord Murugan's Sittirai Cavadee.
Sunday 13th May 2007 - Special Thimidi Prayer held at Siva pregasen temple in honor of Madurai Amman temple in Port Louis Mauritius.
Sunday 27th May 2007 - Special prayer held for Madurai Amman as it was Mothers day in Mauritius
Wednesday 31st May 2007 - Special Vaigasi Visagam prayer held to celebrate Lord Murugan's Birthday
Friday 22nd June 2007 - Special Annai Tiru Manjanam prayer held for Lord Shiva
Saturday 4th August 2007 - More builiding work done on the temple. concrete wall added, double glassing windows fixed in,
paved flooring outside added, paint work started.
