History In The making - From Dream 2 Reality
-
The 1st Temple in Mauritius is Clemencia Murugan Kovil in Flacq - which built in 1838. 1st prayer was in 1856.
-
1990 - The dream was that of Mr Siva Pregasen Sunassee, my father, who wanted Mauritian people to have a temple of their own. A place where everyone was treated fairly, and was seen the same, regardless of caste, background or their wealth. He sadly passed away not seeing his dream become a reality, but I today have pursued this dream with your help, beginning to make it a reality.
