History In The making - From Dream 2 Reality 

• The 1st Temple in Mauritius is Clemencia Murugan Kovil in Flacq - which  built in 1838. 1st prayer was in 1856.
• 1990 - The dream was that of Mr Siva Pregasen Sunassee, my father, who wanted Mauritian people to have a temple of their own. A place where everyone was treated fairly, and was seen the same, regardless of caste, background or their wealth. He sadly passed away not seeing his dream become a reality, but I today have pursued this dream with your help, beginning to make it a reality.
• December 2005 - Purchased 1 Lynford Gardens as temple location
• Sunday 03rd December 2006 - The temple's first foundation ceremony - laying of the first brick.
• 12^th May 2006 - Organized Sittirai Cavadee @ London Sri Murugan Kovil
• 1^st July 2006 - Organized trip to Scandavale in Wales
• Sunday 23^rd July 2006 - Organized Walking on Machetes @ Walthamstow Amman Korvil
• Saturday 30^th September 2006 - Organized 2^nd week of Govinden celebrations @ Walthamstow Amman Kovil
• Saturday 18^th November 2006 - Organized trip to Scandavale in Wales
• Thursday 1st February 2007 - Organized Thaipoosam Cavadee & London Sri Murugan Kovil in East London Manor park
• Friday 16th February 2007 - Organized Shivrathri at Siva Pragasen Temple. - 1st poojai.
• Sunday 11th March 2007 - Organized Miss Jaya Laxmy's 3rd Birhtday - with abivaishakam, arti, and bhajanams and celebrations.
• Saturday 14th April 2007 - Organized Tamil Varusha pirappu @ the Temple
• Sunday 22nd April 2007 - Organized the First Kodi Ettram @ the Temple, for Sittirai Cavadee
• Tuesday 1st May 2007 -  Organized our 2nd Sittirai Cavadee @ London Sri Murugan Kovil
• Sunday 13th May 2007 - Organized a special Thimidi prayer to honor Madurai Amman temple in Port Louis Mauritius, who were performing the walking on fire ceremony.
• Sunday 27th May 2007 - Organized a special Mother's day prayer for Madurai Amman, as Mauritius were celebrating mothers day.
• Wednesday 31th May 2007 - Organized Vaigasi Visagam to celebrate Lord Murugan's birthday at the Temple.
• Friday 22nd June 2007 - Organized Annai Tiru Manjanam to honor Lord Shiva at the Temple
• August 2007 - Sun Mag the first quarterly devotional magazine lauched by Sun E Team
• Sunday 5th August 2007 - Organized Canjee Poojai for Mariammen @ the Temple
• Sunday 12th August 2007 - Organized our second walking on Machetes event @ Walthamstow Amman Kovil
• Sunday 02nd Spetember 2007 - Organzied Bhajanam with as special guests the group of Devotees of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi 
• Sunday 16th September 2007 - Organized a special Ganapathi Sadurthi prayer, as requested by Devotee.
• Saturday 22nd September 2007 - Organized 1st Week Govinden festival celebrations @ the Temple
• Saturday 29th September 2007 - Organized 2nd Week Govinden festival celebrations @ the  Temple
• Saturday 6th October 2007 - Organized 3rd Week Govinden festival celebrations @ the Temple
• Saturday 13th October 2007 - Organized 4th Week Govinden festival celebrations @ the Temple
• Saturday 19th October 2007 - Mauritian temple forms a partnership with  nrityakala-dancecreations  to bring  Bharatanatyam clases to people who want to learn.
• Sunday 20th October 2007 - Organized Vijaya Dasami @ the Temple.
• Thursday 08th November 2007 - Organized 1st Deepavali celebrations @ the Temple
• Saturday 10th November - Thursday 15th November 2007- Organized Skanda Shasti @ the Temple
• Saturday 24th November 2007- Orgnized Kartigai Deepam @ the Temple
• Monday 03rd December 2007 - The Temple's first birthday (marking the first foundation ceremony performed). Morning abhishekham followed by evening Bhajanam and celebrations
• Tuesday 1st January 2008 - New years day special morning Abishegam and evening bhajanam
• Sunday 13th January 2008 - Thaipoosam cavadee fasting begins, with kumbam prayer @ the temple
• Tuesday 22nd January 2008 - Organized Thaipoosam cavadee at the temple.
• Wednesday 23rd January 2008 -Mauritiantemple participates in the Thaipoosam cavadee celebrations at London Sri Murugan temple
• Saturday 16th February 2008 - Marked the 1st anniversary of the first poosei (maha shivrathri 2007) at the temple, first abishegam for the Shiva Lingam.
• Thursday 21st Feburary 2008 - Maasi Magam at the temple - special prayer held.
• Thursday 6th March 2008 - Maha Shivrathri organized at Siva pregasen temple
• Sunday 30th March 2008 - Thimidee (marche sur le feu) First time ever in the uk - organized prosession from the Temple to Goodmayes South Park and Thimidee held at the Park
• Friday 14th July 2008 - A trip was organised to Skandavale. 

  Saturday 2nd August 2008 - Aadi Perrukku ceremony at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti temple
• Sunday 3rd August 2008 - The annual walking on machetes ceremony by Mauritian Temple in collaboration with the Ammen Walthamstow Temple was held on the 3rd of August 2008.  Ten days of prayers were held at the Ammen Temple
• Friday 15th August 2008- Special Aadi Velli/ Varalakshmi Viradam prayers were held on the 15th of August 2008 at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple
• Sunday 17th August 2008 - A first time cavadee in the honour of Goddess Mariammen was held on the 17th of August 2008 at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple.  Kodi Etram was held on the 8th of August 2008 to mark the start of ten days of fasting.  A Cavadee procession was organised from South Park, Goodmayes to the Temple.
• Saturday 23rd August 2008 - For the first time, Krishna Janmastami was celebrated on the 23rd of August at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple.  Kartigai prayers were also done on that day
• Wednesday 3rd September 2008 - Grand prayers were held for Vinayar Sadurthi on the 3rd of September 2008 at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple
• Saturday 20th September to 11th October 2008 - All four weeks of Govinden Thiruvizha was celebrated at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple.  Prayers were performed for Sri Krishna from 7pm to 9.30pm on the first three weeks.  A grand night of prayers and bhajanam was organised on the 11th October 2008 for Sri Krishna till early morning on Sunday 12th October.
• Tuesday 30th September 2008 to 9th October 2008 -Navarathri was celebrated on the 30th of September 2008 to the 8th of October 2008. On the 9th of October, prayers were held for Vijaya Dasami
• Monday 27th October 2008 -  Deepavali was celebrated at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple as per the annual customs with prayers, bhajanam, lighting of lamps, and fireworks.
• Monday 3rd of November 2008 -Prayers were held at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple for six days of Skanda Shasti fasting from the 29th of October to the 3rd of November 2008
• Wednesday 3rd of December 2008 -  Second anniversary of its Bhoomi Poosei was celebrated at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple.  The Temple was then 2 years since its foundation ceremony.  Prayers were held 26th of November 2008 to the 5th of December 2008.
• Thursday 11th of December 2008 - Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple organised prayers for Kartigai Deepam in the honour of Lord Siva and Sri Murugan.
• Saturday 27th of December 2008 -  The first Hanuman Jayanti was held at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple with a strong attendance of Devotees.
• Thursday 1st of January 2009 - New Year prayers at Goodmayes Sri SivaShakti Temple are organised.  Special Ammen Poosei are held from the 28th of December 2008 to the 30th of December 2008
